My name is Margaret Elphick and I am a retired teacher of Computing living in West Lothian.

I taught Computing at Bathgate Academy for 23 years to all levels from complete beginners to Advanced Higher . I have also taught adults at evening classes and run courses for my colleagues.

I am equally at home with a Windows PC or an Apple Mac.

I find teaching very rewarding and want to put the many skills I have acquired over the years to good use now that I am retired. These skills together with patience and a friendly personality make me perfectly suited to teaching adult learners and to help them have fun with as well as make good use of their home computers.

I can help you find your way through the technical jargon so that you can understand and enjoy your computer!

Qualifications: BSc in Mathematics, MSc in Chrystalography, Diploma of Secondary Education in Computing, Post Graduate Certificate of Education
